Hexagenia/Green Drake Haystack
Fran Betters Haysack has been a proven fly for many years yet it is still a mystery that few people fish them in the larger size! This is probably the most productive fly I use during the Green Drake or Hexeginia hatch. It is tied on a #8 with olive deer hair and olive opposum fur over yellow thread.
